The Lions Eye Bank of Oregon values its Volunteer Couriers. Couriers are on call 24 hours around the clock to pickup or deliver cornea tissue. Below is a listing of all Volunteer Couriers for the first three (3) quarters of the year 2010. Next to the names, in parenthesis, are the number of runs these couriers have performed since Jan 1, 2010 through Sept 30th.

We have moved this listing from the Oregon Lion Paper to our website, in order to provide you detailed news stories in the Lions Eye Bank section. Lions had informed us that they would like more news they could use and pass on to others in their Oregon Lion paper.

Portland Lloyd Lion Gerald Caldwell makes a courier delivery to the Lions Eye Bank on 11th & SE Grant.

Lion Marguerite Hofferber of the Portland Centennial Lions makes a delivery on one of her many volunteer courier runs each month.

Lion Gerald Nicholas stopped by at Christmas time to deliver a check for $100. His Portland Parkrose Club had a challenge to see how many runs he could do in a month. He did 22 runs that month. Gerald has made 126 Courier runs in the past year, 59 so far in 2010.
